PROPER COOLANTS FOR WELDING APPLICATIONS

CAUTION! Use of Unapproved Coolants may void your warranty!

DO NOT USE AUTOMOTIVE ANTIFREEZE SOLUTIONS IN WELDING EQUIPMENT COOLING SYSTEMS - IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY - Automotive antifreeze contains additives such as silicates and phosphates for use in automobile engines and is not suited for closed loop cooling systems. Use non-automotive antifreeze coolant only if the cooler is used in freezing conditions. A maximum of 50/50 mixture which will give protection to -10° F. is suggested. Propylene glycol is strongly recommended for safety reasons.
